Eastwood Neighborhood Scottsdale AZ
The Eastwood neighborhood is truly a hidden gem in Scottsdale. Located on the South end of the original Gainey Ranch Arabian horse property, this quiet community features mature trees, sidewalks, proximity to Gainey Ranch amenities, block constructed homes and very friendly residents. Although most of the homes were built between 1979 and 1981, the floor-plans are remarkably modern and in recent years, homeowners have begun to renovate. The neighborhood has a great feel to it–it’s easily accessible, yet feels removed from the city.
If you’re trying to find the Eastwood neighborhood, don’t be confused by the community name marker–the legal name for the community is “Eastwood AMD”, but the marketing name is Carriage Square at Gainey Village. Driving from Scottsdale Road, go East on Eastwood a few blocks to the entrance off Farview. One of the nice benefits of this community is the low HOA fees–currently $30/month. Another little known fact about Eastwood is the “secret pathway” at the Northeast end of the community that connects it to the rest of Gainey Ranch–this pathway allows residents to easily walk or bike ride to Gainey Village Health Club, Hyatt Regency Resort, the Shops at Gainey, Rotary Park and other wonderful amenities.
Residents are less than 10 minutes from Fashion Square, old town Scottsdale, the 101 freeway and more. If you are looking for an amazing location, well-built homes and good value, look no further!
